Mrs Henderson was a special person with a gentle spirit and a loving soul. I worked with her in 1977-1978 as a new County Extension Ag. Agent in Magnolia. I will never forget her words of encouragement and the dresses she not only wore, but acutally made.. I counted her as a dear friend and will miss her smile. The family is in my prayers and know she is in a better place.

Mrs “H” was a true leader and friend. I will miss her jokes and interesting story tellings. I’ve known Mrs “H” as long as I can remember. I’m saddened by our loss , but I will always carry joyous memories of Mrs “H” until we meet again! R.I.P. Thank You!!!

Mrs.Henderson was my second mom. She and her staff were very accommodating to my family over the 70 plus years. And she was a very sweet,humorous knowledgeable, supportive woman who ever to me walked this earth. I'm going to truly miss her. Two years ago she and her staff took care of my mom,and Mrs."H" came up to me during the viewing whispered and said you still my strong girl? I smiled and said yes ma'am . Although it wasn't true,I just didn't want her see me weak like. Oh wow I loved her so much it's going to be so hard walking in the building and not seeing her.sitting there at that window. Take your rest now sweet lady you've earned it.

Mrs. Henderson was a joy to know. She shared a humor and wit that reminded me of her late husband, AC, but was uniquely her own. She was a lady and professional in all that she did. STILL REMEMBERED: "She's gone but still remembered, we 'll see her face no more, but when we join that Angelic host, we'll meet again beside the shore, she left behind a lovely past, we need not mourn her going away, we'll see her when we die at last. Great and noble was her life, she nursed no envy in her breast, she withstood the sting of the strife, Her deeds were motivated by love, we know she is resting with her God, in the heavens high above. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Sister Gertrude Henderson. She was such a classy lady with a very humble
spirit. She always offered words of wisdom and was an example of a virtuous woman. Magnolia has suffered a great loss
in the passing of Sister Henderson. She was always willing and ready to help those in need. Ms. Henderson possessed a
great sense of humor. She was a business minded person who knew how to handle her business. The world could use more

Growing up and attending Bethlehem Baptist Church, Mrs. Henderson was once my Young Adult Usher Board Director, my Vacation Bible School Teacher and she served in many other leadership roles that I participated. She always had kinds words of wisdom and she always spoke with such a loving demeanor. I pray the family only experience peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. She will truly be missed.
