Obituary of Louis Nunley, Jr.

Louis Nunley, Jr, age 60, of Magnolia, died unexpectedly, Sunday, February 4, 2024, at home in Magnolia. He was the son of the late Louis, Sr. and Mary Maxie Nunley.  Louis was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on January 16, 1964 and raised in Haynesville.  He was formerly of Emerson, Arkansas prior to moving to Magnolia about a year and a half ago. 

An avid fisherman, Louis loved nothing more than spending time with his family and having a good time.  He was a genuinely loving person who  accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Fred Norman, two sisters: Shanta annd Evette, and a brother-in-law, David Henderson.

He never married or had children but leaves cherished memories with: his stepmother, Elnora Combs; one brother, Quinn Hunter; four sisters:  Patricia Henderson of Magnolia, AR, Janice Ferguson (Tim)  and Daphne Nunley, both of Emerson, AR Linda Murria (Darren) of  Mesquite, TX; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Ms. Joyce Maxie, of Magnolia. He will be dearly missed.
