Obituary of Alice Marie Dale

Alice Marie Dale, formerly of Magnolia, died March 4, 2024, at Dallas, TX.  She was 83.  Alice was born April 19, 1940, in Bussey, AR, to Isaac and Allie Bell Broom.

Alice graduated from Bowlie High School in Monroe, Louisiana, but later returned to Columbia County.  She was a licensed cosmetologist in Louisiana and Arkansas for more than 50 years. She  worked on the line at Amfuel, retiring from there in 2012.  Alice was a beloved member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, faithfully attending Sunday School, Bible study, and Sunday worship. She happily made trips in support of her church and pastor.  With her pleasant and kind personality, she was a good listener, often offering words of encouragement to uplift others. She was a devoted activist, quietly and consistently working behind the scenes in support of her community and church whenever necessary.

She is survived and cherished by her children: Isaac Nelson and Carla Dale (Phil) Henslee of Dallas, TX, Rocco (her fur-granddog) and a great many friends and loved ones by whom she will be sorely missed!

Memorial Service honoring the life and legacy of Alice Marie Dale will be held at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, with Pr. Bobby J. Harris officiating.  There will be NO public viewing.
