Obituary of Charity Lee Jones

Charity Lee Jones, age 97, of 1775 Columbia 14, Magnolia died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Wentworth Place, Magnolia, AR. Mrs. Jones was born November 10, 1914 in Emerson, AR. She was the daughter of the late Peter and the late Lula (Jermany) Banks. Mrs. Jones, a homemaker, was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Emerson, AR. She is survived by: one son, Ervin E. Jones, M.D., of Eastville, Virginia; one sister, Ruby Murphy of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven nieces, three nephews, and a community of friends. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the A. C. Henderson Memorial Chapel, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia, with the Rev. Monette Copeland officiating. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery, Emerson, AR, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. .
