Obituary of Genette G Johnson

Mrs. Genette Griffin Johnson, age 70, 433 Cunningham St, Lewisville, formerly of Magnolia, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson was born June 17, 1942 in Magnolia, AR. She is the daughter of the late W.C. Griffin the late Exie Lee Ward Griffin. She was a beloved homemaker, and housekeeper by trade for as long as her health allowed. She was a member of Mt. Calm Baptist Church, where the late Rev. Turner Hardin was pastor. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Frank Johnson, two daughters: Robinette Kimble and Janet Grissom and three sons: Winfred Kimble, Tony Griffin, and Gerry Ellis all of Magnolia, AR; one sister and one brother, Lovie Brown and Otha Griffin, both of Los Angeles, CA, eleven grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one step daughter, Helen Glover and one stepson, Larry Johnson, both of Lewisville, AR, and Ms. Sharon Henry, her very treasured friend. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January, 12, 2013, at St. James Baptist Church, Hwy 82, Lewisville, AR. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Columbia Rd 30, Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson's Funeral Service.
