Obituary of Sr. Shaw

Lionel Shaw, Sr., age 54, of 106 Askew, Waldo died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at VA Medical Center of Little Rock, AR. Mr. Shaw was born September 7, 1959 in Magnolia . He is the son of James and Stella (Shaw) Hughey. He married Han Shaw. He served and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was employed by the Allen White Company as an Upholsterer. He is survived by two daughters: Latricia Allen (Joseph) of Mabelvale, Sherrie Shaw of Alexander, and one son: Lionel Shaw, Jr. of Seattle, WA; parents, Stella and James Hughey, Waldo, two sisters: Brenda Hughey Fears (Douglas) and Glenda Howell (Kem) of Columbus, GA; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 31 at A.C. Henderson Memorial Chapel, 614 Calhoun Rd., Magnolia, AR with Rev. Timothy Biddle officiating. Burial will follow in West Cemetery under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. Calling hours will be Friday, May 30 from Noon-4:00 pm at Henderson's Mortuary, 614 Calhoun Rd., Magnolia, AR.
