Obituary of Marquita Sharp

Marquita Sharp, age 31, of Magnolia died Monday, November 10, 2014 at home in Magnolia. Mrs. Sharp was born August 5, 1983 in Magnolia, AR. She is the daughter of Junious Grissom and Angie Manning. She married Arthur Sharp, Jr. on August 6, 2007. She was a homemaker. Marquita was a 2001 graduate of Walker High School and she later attended Southern Arkansas University. She was a member of Macedonia #2 Baptist Church in Emerson, AR. She is survived by her husband: Arthur Sharp, Jr. ; her father Junious (Doris) Grissom, of Magnolia and mother Angie Manning, of Emerson; one brother: Derek Grissom of Mesquite, TX; six sisters: Rocquel Grissom of Emerson, Shonda Manning and Sheila Miller of Magnolia, Christie Messer, McKinney, TX, Jequetta Moore, Melissa, TX, and Yolanda Jackson, McNeil, six uncles, five aunts, two nephews, four nieces, and one great-niece. The funeral will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 15 at Macedonia #2 Baptist Church, , Emerson, AR with Rev. Willie Manning officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10 am until time of service. Burial will be at Kings Hill Cemetery, Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.
