For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
II Corinthians 5:1 (KJV)
Ethel joined Mount Superior Church at an early age; it was her spiritual home her entire life where she served on numerous ministries and community outreach programs.
One of Ethel’s passions was gospel singing, and she loved recounting memories of singing in the Melody Five Quartet as they traveled around the state and broadcasted every Sunday morning on the radio.
Ethel was also a life-long educator: She obtained her degree in Education from University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (formerly Arkansas Agricultural, Mechanical & Normal College) and worked as a teacher for over 18 years.
