Obituary of Emma Lee Clayton Williams

Emma Lee Clayton Williams, 89 years, of Magnolia, passed away on Monday September 14, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born in Emerson, Columbia County, AR, she was the daughter of the late Gulver "Tab" Clayton and the late Modie Robinson Clayton. She married Welcome Williams. Mother Williams was a homemaker who delighted in caring for others and serving her Lord Jesus Christ. She united with the Pine Hill CME Church in Emerson at a young age, and later was joined with the Free Union Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia. She served faithfully wherever the Lord called her. She worked tirelessly as Mission President, Church Secretary, Church Clerk and Sunday School Teacher, throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Welcome Williams; two daughters: Doris Turner, Mattie Mae Williams; two brothers: Deobie Cooper, Larry West; and one sister, Carrie West. She leaves memories that will be cherished forever with three sons: Randy (Alice) Williams, Dwayne (Sandra) Williams, Donald Williams; five daughters: Letha Hill, Liza (Will) Beasley, Helen Price, Cindy Williams, Mindy Williams, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mary Ann Crockett. .
