Obituary of Elouise W Henderson

Elouise W. Henderson, 83, of Magnolia, died Friday, January 29, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center.  Elouise was born in Magnolia on June 29, 1937, the daughter of Ivory Wafer and Carrie Jackson Wafer. She married Frank Henderson. During her younger years, she worked as a kitchen helper at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.

Mother Henderson was preceded in death by her parents, all but one sibling, her husband, Frank Henderson, two of her sons, David and Michael Henderson, and one grandson, Reginald Bradley.

She leaves precious cherished memories with her five sons: Gerald (Patsy) Henderson, Elvis Henderson, Ray Dean (Lora) Henderson, Joe (Melinda) Henderson, Frank Antonio (Kansas) Henderson, three daughters: Mae Bell (Harvey) Bradley, Louise (Melvin) Carrington, Annie (Doris) Gilbert, all of Magnolia, twenty-three grandchildren, a great host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, one cherished brother, Johnny Wafer, of California, and her niece, Mary Ann (Wilson) Booker.

Public viewing will be at Henderson’s Mortuary, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia on Friday, February 5, from two until four p.m. Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Kings Hill Cemetery on Saturday, February 6, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. Masks and social distancing protocols will be followed during all services. Online guestbook available at www.hendersonsmortuary.com.
