Obituary of John Oscar Mister, Jr.

John Oscar Mister, Jr, of Magnolia, passed quietly from labor to reward on or around August 24, 2022.  Born in Summit, Illinois and later moving to Arkansas, John was the son of John O. Mister, Sr. and Mary Marshall.  John worked for At Your Service for fifteen years.  

John is survived by one daughter, Shonte Mister of Pittsburg, PA; his parents, John O. Mister, Sr of Emerson, AR and Mary Marshall, IL; three brothers: Anthony Mister of Chicago, IL, Marcus Jackson of Magnolia, Thomas Jones of Emerson; one sister: Ericka Mister Smiley of Chicago, IL, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Hendersons's Mortuary, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia, 12 noon until 4 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022.  Wake/visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the Macedonia #2 Baptist Church, 660 Col Rd 46 S, Emerson, on Saturday, September 3, 2022 with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will follow at Noxube Cemetery under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.  Online guestbook available at www.hendersonsmortuary.com.
